Each year, our students take off on exciting expeditions to aid their studies. Last year, a group of adventurous geography students braved the cold (and the polar bears!) of Svalbard in Norway to investigate climate change and the impact it is having in the region. They stayed for three-and-a-half weeks, using specialist equipment to measure data from glaciers and advance our knowledge as to why they melt.
