Authentic Egyptian Bread Recipe: Eish Baladi

Aish Baladi - Egyptian Flatbread 500g plain or bread flour 1 tsp fast action yeast 2 tbsp sugar Tsp salt 320ml lukewarm water 1/4 cup extra flour In a bowl add the water, yeast and sugar and mix. Add in the flour and salt and mix to combine. Start kneading with your hand until the dough is soft but tacky. Make sure your hands don’t stick. Place in a lightly oiled bowl and leave to proof in a dark warm place for an hour or until doubled in size. Turn the dough over on to a lightly floured surface
