Had a scary experience in the Cook Islands when our buddy boat ran aground on a reef in the middle of the channel in Aitutaki. The harbour master had told us we had 3 meters of water, so we both cruised in, but Luca having a much deeper keel than us meant he ran aground as there was definitely not 3m of depth.
