This morning the Pride flag was proudly raised above the Basildon centre by Councillor Terri Sargent and David Burton-Sampson, ahead of celebrations of the Pride parade and festival taking place tomorrow 🏳‍🌈. The Basildon Pride Festival starts at 11am tomorrow, Saturday 2 September, with the parade from the town centre to the festival site at Gloucester Park and Basildon Sporting Village.
