Today we remember Sgt. Warren "Skip" Muck, one of the “Band of Brothers” of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. Muck and his friend Pfc. Alex Penkala were killed in the Battle of the Bulge from a direct hit in their foxhole from German artillery just outside the Belgian town of Foy, Jan. 10, 1945. Muck is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery buried in Plot E, Row 9, Grave 45. The 101st Airborne Division was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation for holding the line
