North Idaho College Student Services and NIC Athletics teamed up to provide pre-packaged meal boxes in a drive-thru food pickup event earlier this month in the DeArmond Building parking lot. The boxes contained five days of meals for two people. Boxes included items like canned soup, bread, and pasta and were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to any student or employee navigating food insecurity. In an hour and 15 minutes, volunteers gave out 52 boxes, each containing 30 meals. NIC
