It is referred to an aerial battle between two or more aircrafts. The first dog fight took place during World War-I in 1914. In those days, pilots had to dodge enemy aircrafts and listen to commands of the gunner at the same time. Pilots try and secure an advantageous position before attacking the enemy plane.
