At 11:31 am, the FDNY responded to report of an 8 car train derailment at the Hillside Yard at 175 Street and 93rd Avenue in Queens. FDNY Firefighters, EMTs, and Rescue Medics all worked to remove the passengers off the derailed train and onto a rescue train which transported them to Jamaica Station. This was an incredible interagency response with the @mta and NYPD. There were 13 total injuries, all non-life threatening. | New York City Fire Department (FDNY)
