#DEVELOPING Residents on Auckland's North Shore have been warned to stay inside due to a major fire at a recycling plant. The fire is on Hillside Rd in Wairau Valley. Fire and Emergency NZ said it was understood there were batteries on fire inside the factory and the fire was producing large amounts of smoke. The US Air Force's largest plane has landed at Auckland's Whenuapai air base, bringing with it a special cargo for a second time. A C-5M Super Galaxy landed at the same base last month to deliver components for a new C-130J Hercules simulator. NZDF said Sunday's visit by the gargantuan aircraft was for the same purpose.
