Nov 19, 2024 · While I'm waiting for the sim to start, I checked the DLSS versions that come with the sim: GPU-Z scans for all DLSS .dll files on my system. These are located in the \Content folders for both sims. I've updated MSFS2020 to the latest versions. Interestingly, the "regular" .dll file for MSFS2024 is 2.4.12. That dates back to August 2022.

Jan 7, 2025 · DLSS cost increases as the internal resolution goes down. 1080p to 4K utilizes more of the tensor cores than 1440p to 4k. The reason we still see a big performance jump with the 1080p base resolution is because tensor utilization is still below 100%.

MSFS2020 - shimmering fix with DLSS - Microsoft Flight ... - AVSIM

And recommend doing a change in the usercfg.opt file* which allegedly will reduce DLSS shimmering, bringing it closer to TAA image quality. However, when I tried this, the sim performed horrendously, with FPS at least half of what I normally get.
