Dec 29, 2012 · As for the markings, all albino animals have normal markings, but in a lighter or more red color. Take albino snakes for instance. To me, crickets are brown with black or dark brown blotches. These markings are light brown, leading me to beleive that if insects can be albino. than this cricket is. ALthough, it may just be pale from a resent molt.

I had only four crickets left in the container and when I checked back later, I found three normal crickets, one dead cricket (the shed exuvia), and one very very white ghostly looking cricket. May 9, 2012 · I remember the first time I saw a newly moulted cricket - I thought there was something wrong with it and separated it from the rest, lol! Chameleons seem to really enjoy newly moulted insects. The new outer skin is nice and soft making for an enjoyable snack for your chameleon that is also easier to digest!

Aug 14, 2013 · After being extremely disappointed in the quality of the crickets from every other place in town whose crickets were smelly, nasty, and lived about three days, I bought a box of those prepackaged "gutloaded" crickets out of desperation. Took them home, rehoused them with real gutload in the clean cricket bin just to see how they would work out.

Apr 4, 2004 · I recently obtained a albino pacman frog, C. cranwelli, and am pondering what I'll feed it as it grows larger. Which led me to wonder-why are field crickets not available? You know the ones I mean, the big black buggers.. It probably takes 3 or four of the domestic crickets used as feeders to make one good sized field cricket.
