Man injured in Atlanta shooting on southeast side; police are investigating the incident with no suspects identified yet.
The uncle of one of the members of the legendary hip-hop duo Outkast was gunned down during a deadly road rage shooting on an Atlanta street last month.
Officers responded around 10:14 p.m. to the 2000 block of Bent Creek Way SW off of Campbellton Road. When they arrived, they found a 57-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left leg and a 32-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her right leg, according to police.
Atlanta Police are investigating a shooting on Foundry St. where a woman was injured and self-transported to the hospital; no suspects have been disclosed yet.
Investigators told Channel 2’s Bryan Mims that it appears the armed man was confronted and shot by another civilian man. The other victim went to Grady Memorial Hospital, where Atlanta Police Department Homicide Commander Lt. Andrew Smith said he is currently stable.
