Lawyers for Sean “Diddy” Combs are suing a man they said had falsely claimed in interviews to possess videos implicating the music mogul in sexual assaults on celebrities.

Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team has now reviewed videos of the embattled hip-hop mogul's so-called "freak offs" at the heart of prosecutors' case against him and are now claiming the footage shows no evidence of criminal activity.

With the upcoming series being the latest one to examine the life and tribulations of “Diddy,” three lawyers spoke with WWD about how the publicity could affect his trial.

Combs' lawyer says Courtney Burgess, who said he has videos showing Combs sexually assaulting minors and celebrities, is spreading "outrageous lies."

Ashley Parham, an accuser who filed suit against Combs in a California federal court in October, spoke to Ashleigh Banfield of NewsNation Tuesday night and detailed an evening in 2018 in which she says Combs and two other men "took turns" raping her while recording the assault before she was able to threaten him with a knife and ultimately run away from his house after a neighbor created a distraction.

The lawsuit accuses Courtney Burgess, his lawyer, and Nextstar Media Inc. of spreading "conspiracy theories" and seeks $50 million in damages.
