Fuller arrives in the wake of Chargers safeties coach Chris O’Leary going to take the defensive coordinator role at Western Michigan. He spent 2020-2024 with the Seminoles and has had prior stops at the college level at places such as Memphis and Marshall.

After a very successful first year with the Los Angeles Chargers that saw the team make the playoffs, head coach Jim Harbaugh is retooling for next season and is adding some fresh faces to his staff.

This week, University of Illinois head football coach Bret Bielema took a shot at Harbaugh on social media. Bielema bemoaned Harbaugh leaving the college level for the pros, writing the following: “Was looking forward to playing but understand why you ran to the NFL.”
