Two 17-year-old girls who were killed in a hit-and-run crash in West Sacramento on Saturday night have been identified.

After 12 years of planning, development and lawsuits, the Post Oak development, formerly known as The Reserve in Fair Oaks Ranch, is moving forward.

Officers will work with the Yolo County District Attorney's Office to prosecute David Alison Walker, 71, of Fair Oaks, the West Sacramento Police Department said.

"Fairfax families do not deserve to live in a climate of fear because one person refuses to do his job," Miyares said on X.

For four decades, the organization has helped support the Kendall County community through food assistance, financial support and other services.
