After getting off to an extremely fast start at Virginia Tech, the Louisville men's basketball program had to hold on for dear life to get to the finish line. However, they did still get there, leaving Cassell Coliseum with a 71-66 win.

Pat Kelsey's No. 17 Louisville basketball team survived a scare vs host Virginia Tech on Tuesday and clinched a double bye for the ACC Tournament.

At one point, Louisville missed 15 out of 16 three-point tries and saw its lead shrink from double digits to a tie game.
