Steelers DT Cam Heyward commented on the ongoing T.J. Watt contract situation — hoping a deal would just get done.

The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly aren't close to signing Watt to a contract extension after he stayed away from the team through its mandatory minicamp that wrapped up on June 12.

The Pittsburgh Steelers did not have T.J. Watt at their mandatory minicamp this week. Head coach Mike Tomlin did not seem overly concerned about his future with the team, stating they are in constant communication with one another.
