The 21-year-old Savinho joined City last summer on a $45 million transfer and signed a five-year contract but has been linked to Tottenham, which has seen Son Heung-min leave this offseason and James Maddison go down with an ACL tear.

Pep Guardiola wants to keep Manchester City winger Savinho for "many years" but will not stop any of his players leaving if they are determined to quit the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola also revealed the Brazilian winger was unlikely to be fit until after the close of the transfer window.
