BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Republican-hosted town hall meeting in Idaho descended into chaos after three men dressed in black forcibly removed a woman who was heckling the speakers.

A woman was harassed, mocked, threatened with pepper spray, and violently dragged across the floor of a Republican town hall meeting by a group of men because she spoke during Rep. Ron Mendive’s address.

The legislative town hall organized by the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee and held in the Coeur d’Alene High School auditorium devolved into chaos when Kootenai County’s sheriff first took Borrenpohl by the arm and attempted to pull her from her seat when she declined to leave the event for speaking out of turn.
