The FBI says it offered guidance before Savannah Guthrie and her siblings released a public video responding to an alleged ransom note following the disappearance of their mother Nancy Guthrie.

Savannah Guthrie's brother, Camron Guthrie, issued a plea Thursday for the return of their mother, Nancy Guthrie, saying in a video to the possible abductor, "We want to talk to you."

In a tearful video posted on Instagram, “TODAY” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie on Wednesday pleaded for more information from her 84-year-old mother’s possible kidnapper, saying her family is “ready to talk.

Nancy Guthrie was taken from her home early Sunday, authorities said.

"We need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward," Camron Guthrie said in the video

Nancy Guthrie was last seen five days ago when her children left her at her home in Tucson, Arizona.
