Russia warned against efforts to carry out a regime change in Iran and said it would react “very negatively” if Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, were killed, raising concerns of a broader escalation in the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict as President Donald Trump is set to decide whether to strike or negotiate with Iran within the next two weeks.

They said the talks included a brief discussion of a U.S. proposal given to Iran at the end of May that aims to create a regional consortium that would enrich uranium outside of Iran, an offer Tehran has so far rejected.
