The Giants landed star Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft — but that doesn't mean they didn't try to take a quarterback.

The Tennessee Titans were so convinced in their belief that Cam Ward was their guy to choose with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft that they turned down at least one offer to give up the opportunity to draft him.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Giants offered the Tennessee Titans their No. 3 pick this year, next year's first-round pick and a handful of other picks in return for the top pick in the 2025 draft. Ultimately, the Titans didn't budge and used their No. 1 pick to take Miami quarterback Cam Ward.
