Stephen Curry scored at least 45 points on Feb. 27 for the third time, joining Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor as the only NBA players with three 45-point games on the same date.

Stephen Curry ignited his own third-quarter explosion with a 50-footer at the halftime horn, then capped a 56-point performance with his 11th and 12th 3-pointers to protect a late lead that resulted in the Golden State Warriors' 121-115 victory over the host Orlando Magic on Thursday night.

The Warriors have rattled off five straight wins since acquiring Jimmy Butler, and Curry continues to make history.

The Warriors trailed by 14 at halftime and got down by as many as 17, but Stephen Curry saved the day with 56 points and 12 3-pointers.  Curry was hot throughout the first half, but it was his three-quarter court heave at the end of the first half that set the tone for a Warriors third-quarter explosion reminiscent of the good ol' days.
