A Houston man injured in the Delta plane crash in Toronto last month is suing the airline and asking for a jury trial. Tomas Eugenio Salvador Stamm was a passenger on Flight 4819, which departed from the Minneapolis-St.

The Feb. 17 crash happened when the Delta plane carrying 80 passengers attempted to land on a snowy runway at the Toronto airport. Following its descent, the plane skidded along the runway in flames before it flipped upside down.

Tomas Salvador’s attorney said his client is being treated for several physical injuries and is undergoing occupational, speech and physical therapy.
