BALTIMORE (AP) — Jesse Minter is the new head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. The club hired the Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator on Thursday. Minter replaces John Harbaugh, who was fired earlier this month after 18 years when the Ravens failed to make the playoffs.
John Harbaugh's 18th season in Baltimore ended with the Ravens missing the playoffs for just the second time in eight years.
Kubiak has emerged as a popular candidate this year thanks to his success with the Seahawks. He's still in the midst of leading Seattle in the playoffs, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him on the Raiders sideline in the fall.
