Indian captain Rohit Sharma on Wednesday played down speculations about his future in international cricket, saying it is irrelevant to talk about his career at a time when he is "focussed" on the three ODIs against England and the Champions Trophy.

Indian cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma, has hinted that spinner Varun Chakravarthy could be included in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy squad. Rohit made the statement during the pre-match press conference on the eve of the 1st ODI against England.

Chakravarthy, who got 14 wickets in five T20Is against England and was adjudged the 'Player of The Series', wasn't initially picked for the three ODIs against England and the Champions Trophy

Varun Chakravarthy scalped 14 wickets in the recent T20I series against England and he was named the Player of the Series. The England players hardly had any answers to his mystery spin. Chakravarthy has now been added to the ODI squad for the England series.
