Purdy is coming off of a 2024 season that saw him struggle a bit. He completed 65.9 percent of his pass attempts for 3,864 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 15 games. In addition to his passing numbers, Purdy was able to chip in with 323 yards and five touchdowns on the ground as well.

San Francisco 49ers legend Steve Young argued that the team must secure Brock Purdy rather than risk starting over with another quarterback.

Peter Schrager reported on Monday that Brock Purdy's upcoming contract extension with the 49ers may not reset the market.
