The NBA announced a major schedule change for the Oklahoma City Thunder ’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday Feb. 5. That matchup will now be shown at 9:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN. It replaces the regular scheduled game between the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans that was originally supposed to be shown on ESPN.

The Dallas Mavericks bounced back from a three-game losing streak, including a controversial loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night. OKC entered the game tied for the NBA's best record and had just beaten the other team with the top record by 20 points.

Utah now continues its road trip against the best in the west, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

During his time suiting up for the Thunder, Butler wore only jersey No. 14 and put up 6.2 points and 1.3 assists per game.

The Thunder could be without several key players. Jalen Williams (hip strain) is questionable. Chet Holmgren (hip fracture) is out. Isaiah Hartenstein (calf strain) is out. Ajay Mitchell (toe surgery) is out. Nikola Topic (torn ACL) is out.

The Oklahoma City Thunder head to Wells Fargo Center to face the Philadelphia 76ers in a non-conference matchup. The Thunder are 32-6, which puts them at the top of the Western Conference, with the second best record in all of the NBA. The Sixers are 15-22, which puts them in 11th place in the Eastern Conference.

Irving is listed on the injury report as he continues to deal with a lumbar back sprain. Meanwhile, Dereck Lively II (right ankle sprain), Luka Doncic (left calf strain) and Dante Exum (right wrist surgery) are all out for Friday's game. It is worth noting that Mavs head coach Jason Kidd previously said he expects Irving to play on Friday.
