Netflix Canada has announced what's coming and new on the streaming service in February 2025. This is besides the price increase that happened yesterday. For Netflix Games, Carmen San Diego is now available.
Netflix has also raised prices in plans in Canada, Portugal, and Argentina. In Canada, the ad-supported tier will rise to CAD$7.99 per month, the Standard plan will rise to CAD$18.99, and the Premium plan will rise to CAD$23.99.

The new prices for Netflix take effect immediately for new subscribers, while existing members will see the change on their next bill.
As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can reinvest to further improve Netflix,” the company told investors.
Flexing its pricing power, the company is rolling out price increases on several of its plans and in a handful of markets.
Netflix followed four teams—the United States, France, Canada and Serbia—during the men's basketball tournament and made a documentary titled Court of Gold. The documentary shows behind-the-scenes looks at the four teams during their Olympic runs, and includes interviews from players, former players, analysts and even former President Barack Obama.
The company raised subscription prices across most plans in the U.S. and several other markets. It added 19 million subscribers in the fourth quarter of last year.
