A Spanish police officer died while assisting with security preparations for the arrival of the MV Hondius, the cruise ship that experienced an outbreak of hantavirus.

Craig Morton, who spent 18 years in the NFL and became the first quarterback to start the Super Bowl for two franchises — the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos — has died.

Morton led Denver to its first ever Super Bowl appearance in 1977, quarterbacking the team best known for its ferocious Orange Crush defense.
