Luka Doncic, LeBron James and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers scored a much-needed win on Friday night. They blew out the Washington Wizards, 142-111. This was a welcome development after L.A.’s embarrassing 129-99 defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON — Luka Doncic had a triple-double by halftime and finished with 37 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds as the Lakers crushed the Washington Wizards, 142-111, on Friday night.

After the game against the Cavaliers, Lakers head coach J.J. Redick called Cleveland’s raised court a “safety hazard,” and he’s not the first NBA coach to express a similar sentiment.
