A former college basketball star has been arrested and charged with his mother’s murder, the CT Post reported.

A former collegiate and Jacksonville basketball standout is charged with murder after his mother was found wrapped in blankets outside their home.

Eric Cobb, an ex-college basketball player, was arrested in Jacksonville for allegedly killing his mother, Erika Winford. She was found dead in her backyard. Cobb faces a second-degree murder charge.
