In the wee hours of Monday night, the Eagles traded interior defensive lineman Thomas Booker to the Raiders in exchange for outside cornerback Jakorian Bennett, in a deal that took some by surprise.

Looking to add depth at cornerback, general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles dealt defensive tackle Thomas Booker IV to the Las Vegas Raiders for Jakorian Bennett on Monday night.

With Kelee Ringo and Adoree' Jackson failing to separate themselves in a neck-and-neck battle, the Eagles were proactive in acquiring some outside help in order to make the competition more interesting. The Eagles acquired Jakorian Bennett from the Raiders in exchange for Thomas Booker, a player-for-player swap that has implications for both sides.
