In February of 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime to win the first-ever Super Bowl hosted at Allegiant Stadium. The venue must have made an impression on the NFL, because Allegiant Stadium was chosen to host the big game once again in 2029.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL is expected to return to Las Vegas for Super Bowl 63 when the league votes on the site of the Big Game in 2029 during next week's annual meeting. One source told Schefter that it's a "matter of formality."
The NFL announced that Las Vegas, a city on a hot streak, will host Super Bowl 63. And that means Arizona remains out of the mix until at least 2030. Las Vegas hosted Super Bowl 58 and is on track to be awarded an NBA expansion franchise to begin play as early as 2028.
