Netflix has confirmed the 'Stranger Things' Season 5 finale runtime as well as participating theaters that will screen the episode on New Year's Eve.
The title of Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 4, Sorcerer, points to Will’s natural powers. A wizard learns magic, but a sorcerer is born with it. Mike first calls Will a wizard. Later, he realizes Will is a sorcerer because his powers come from within.
Limited screenings of Stranger Things Season 5's final episode will play in over 350 theaters throughout the US and Canada. The screenings will take place at the exact same time as the Netflix global premiere (December 31 at 8:00 pm ET) and will run through January 1. In other words, you have two days to watch the finale in theaters if you want to!
The highly anticipated final showdown of the mega-hit series will be simultaneously playing out on both the small and big screen, and Netflix on Tuesday revealed both the official runtime for the feature-length ending, as well as the locations where fans can see the final episode in movie theaters.
Stranger Things season 5 will consist of eight episodes, matching the previous seasons, which all had eight or nine episodes.
To celebrate the conclusion of the record-breaking series, Netflix has revealed the full list of cities and theaters participating in fan screenings of the Stranger Things 5 Finale across the US and Canada. The official run time of The Finale will be 2 hours and 5 minutes.
