But since it’s been more than three years since “Stranger Things” aired its fourth season finale, the trek might be a little rough for those who haven’t re-binged the Duffer brothers’ hit Netflix series before it debuts Volume I of the fifth and final season Nov.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things came out in three parts. Volume 1 has the first four episodes, including Episode 4. It came out on Netflix in late November 2025. The first volume was released on November 26. Netflix set the release for 8:00 p.m. ET.

But in the world of Stranger Things itself, not that much time has gone by at all. From its first season set in Christmas 1983, the show now takes place in the fall of 1987—a span of just four years.
