Fans are rushing to local movie theaters to grab limited tickets to see the "Stranger Things" Netflix show finale.
The Stranger Things season finale will run for 2 hours and 5 minutes, according to streamer Netflix's official announcement. This means that there are still many hours left to spend with the gang from Hawkins, Indiana as they have their final battle with the villainous Vecna and the forces of the Upside Down.
Limited screenings of Stranger Things Season 5's final episode will play in over 350 theaters throughout the US and Canada. The screenings will take place at the exact same time as the Netflix global premiere (December 31 at 8:00 pm ET) and will run through January 1. In other words, you have two days to watch the finale in theaters if you want to!
Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 1 is less a satisfying meal, and more an hour of table-setting so everything and everyone is where they need to be for when sh*t gets real. Indeed, the early screening Dexerto attended featured the first eight minutes of Episode 2 tacked on, and when you watch them you’ll see why, as it’s jaw-dropping stuff.
