South Carolina women's basketball's new 6-foot-7 forward from France, Alicia Tournebize, has started practicing for coach Dawn Staley.

Dawn Staley said freshman forward Alicia Tournebize will make her debut for South Carolina women's basketball against Texas on Jan. 15.

South Carolina women's basketball is playing Arkansas on Jan. 8 and will probably be without two players according to Dawn Staley.

The 6-foot-7 player from France joined the team on Jan. 1 and hasn’t appeared in a game for the Gamecocks yet.
