The Browns withdrew their NFL proposal to extend the draft pick trade window from three to five years, a source confirmed.

It was at the 2025 NFL annual meetings that the Browns initially rolled out the idea of a multi-year process to restock the roster in order to open up a new window of contention.

Those will come in handy as Berry still needs to add a left tackle, a wide receiver (or two), along with some other pieces to the roster.
