ESPN acquired the NFL Network and other NFL media assets last month, including the rights to NFL RedZone. In return, the league acquired a 10% equity stake in the company.

Following a trial run late last season, the popular channel will have what an NFL spokesman described as “a limited number of ads” during its seven-plus hours on the air.

The show provides fans with live coverage of every touchdown and significant moment of the football games on Sunday afternoons during the NFL season.
