"America's Team" often finds itself in the national spotlight -- often in primetime -- which means a whole lot of Monday and Thursday games. And it's Thursday again this week, as the Cowboys travel to Detroit to face the Lions in a game with huge implications for the NFC playoff standings.
As reported by NBC’s Pro Football Talk on Thursday, Prescott is currently the betting favorite for the Comeback Player of the Year Award. DraftKings.com has given him -170 odds. The only player that comes close to potentially taking the honor away from Prescott is San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey, who currently has +130 odds.
That has cut the Cowboys’ deficit to 27-16. If Dallas is going to come back, though, it is going to do it without star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb is ruled out with a concussion. With 12:42 remaining in the third quarter, Lamb elevated in an attempt to make a spectacular catch. He landed on his head.
