Rangeley Fire Chief Mike Bacon told the Sun Journal that Maine Warden Service plane crashed around 11 a.m.

Only the pilot was on board at the time, the Maine Warden Service confirmed. The crash is being investigated by the FAA and NTSB.

"He was finally going to be able to fulfill his goal of taking care of us and starting our life with our children,” his wife said
