MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The South Carolina National Guard responded late Thursday to public concerns after eight of its Apache helicopter pilots were suspended from flying as a result of an investigation into the July 4 Salute from the Shore flyover along the state coastline.
Eight Apache helicopter pilots were grounded after a Fourth of July flypast in South Carolina, with the reason for the investigation remaining undisclosed.
