It’s an Irish tradition that first started more than 60 years ago. The 69th annual Grand Colleen pageant, hosted by the St. Patrick’s Committe of Holyoke, was held at Holyoke High School on Saturday.
Colleen Elizabeth Pelkey, a lifelong resident of St. Albans, passed away peacefully at the home of her goddaughter and her husband Norma and Maurice Cyr surrounded by her family. She was 83 years old.
