Tony Burton, who is best known for his role as Apollo Creed’s trainer Tony “Duke” Evers in the first six “Rocky” movies has died. He was 78.

The Creed franchise has beautifully explored themes of family and legacy, but there are two important characters from the Rocky movies still missing.
