The NCAA officially recognizes 16 of Alabama’s 18 claimed national championships, discounting 1934 and 1941; as we noted earlier in this countdown, we agree with ignoring the latter of the two. The 1934 Crimson Tide, however, went 10-0 and beat previously undefeated Stanford 29-13 in the Rose Bowl, so its claim would seem to be a valid one.
