The Ukrainian parliament acted to undo changes to two anti-corruption offices after mass protests forced President Volodymyr Zelensky to reverse course.

After protests, Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky signed an anti-corruption bill reversing one he signed last week. Parliament voted unanimously.

On Thursday, Zelensky backtracked, saying the new bill was intended to safeguard the independence of Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (Nabu) and Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (Sap), and to protect them from Russian influence.
