Kashmir Resistance, also known as The Resistance Front, has claimed responsibility for Tuesday's attack on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir, the deadliest incident of its kind in India since the 2008 shootings in Mumbai.

Founded in 2019, the little-known group has now taken centre stage in the conflict between India and the rebels.

TRF Kashmir Attack: The Resistance Front (TRF) has claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 tourists, sources in central agencies said. On Tuesday, terrorists fired at tourists in the Baisaran meadow in South Kashmir’s Pahalgam, killing tourists and a local pony operator.
