PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made the call to switch the team’s training camp practices from the morning in 2024 back to their usual spot in the afternoon at 1:55 p.m. That means during the day’s heat, the Steelers will be out on the exposed practice fields at Saint Vincent College.

The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to have settled on a second wide receiver option behind newcomer DK Metcalf - at least for now.

Steelers OC Arthur Smith made it perfectly clear at mandatory minicamp — they didn't acquire Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf to simply run the wishbone.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers sustained no major injuries during their mandatory minicamp process that will hurt the team during training camp on July 24th, head coach Mike Tomlin said. “No injuries worth mentioning or things that could slow down our progress in terms of reporting the football camp," Tomlin said.

Pitt Panthers athletic director Allen Greene met up with some of the most important people within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization. Greene visited the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, the football training facility that Pitt football and the Steelers share and have done so for almost the entirety of this century.

New Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf is quickly making an impression. Metcalf nearly chased down safety Minkah Fitzpatrick on an interception return during the first day of minicamp.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are expecting a renewed and resurgent defense in 2025 and part of that could come from players selected in the NFL Draft.
