PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates will sell at the MLB Trade Deadline, with some of their best assets their long-term contracted players. Pirates right-handed starting pitcher Mitch Keller has received considerable interest from across the MLB and is one of the top trade targets at his position, thanks to his play and contract.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have disappointed their fans this season, by losing countless games and struggling to muster runs.

“We know we’re going to lose some players and we just have to stay focused,” Diamondbacks shortstop Geraldo Perdomo said.

Geraldo Perdomo and Hunter Goodman are the hottest hitters on the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies, who play on Friday, Aug. 8 at Chase Field, at 9:40 p.m. ET (broadcast on ARID and COLR).

Cruz paces the Pirates with 16 home runs, while collecting 40 RBI.

Hiles also noted that the Pirates "don't expect to trade Cruz before this year's deadline."
